ledge the receipt of your telegram of the 10th.ultimo,

and your despatch No.227 of the 11th.ultimo relative to

the request of the Chinese Minister at St.Petersburgh

regarding the body of his fencing master, Wou-Sing-Hai

I have the honour to inform you that in accordance with

your request I gave the necessary instructions for the

landing and trans-shipment of the body, which arrived

by the S.S. "Sexonica" on the 22nd. instant and was trans-

shipped to the S.S. "Lyee moon" for conveyslice to Shang-

hel.
